This is an account of my own personal experience of the development program using hair mineral analysis, covering the different stages of progression I’ve witnessed regarding my health.

Although I did my first hair mineral analysis in 2013, I can’t really say that at that time I properly embarked on a development program.

In 2015 I was hospitalised for several weeks with a severe bacterial pneumonia that hit me really hard. Up to that point I had been learning about development through hair mineral analysis for some time but had never really started to follow its protocols properly. I knew from studying the science of the program that it was unlike any other healing system that I had come across and had met someone in his seventies who was following the program and enjoyed outstanding health to a degree that was remarkably uncommon for his age. He was never sick and seemed to have boundless energy. What made this all the more impressive was when he told me of his extremely poor health just a few years previously and of his decadent lifestyle in his younger years. Despite being many years older than me he had, much like myself, spent a good part of his life trying many different alternative healing methods from around the world and had still found that when all was said and done he only had ailing health to show for it. He had transformed over the 3 years he had been implementing the development program, which he followed faithfully.

Sometimes you need a negative situation to kick-start a good change and when I was discharged from hospital I decided to begin the development program seriously. I often now think back to that time and realise that health problems can be a blessing in disguise. I needed to restore my health and my scare had really hit that point home.

My journey started then, the hair testing, the complete change of diet according to my oxidation rate and mineral ratios, the supplements, the detox procedure and basically a new life style. Getting started is usually the hardest part for people and breaking bad habits is always challenging but for me it was a natural process due to the health problems I’d experienced.

The first thing I noticed was that my blood pressure improved rapidly and soon went to ideal readings. Next I noticed the disappearance of the palpitations which had been a fairly common occurrence. This was an encouraging start. After that I observed the following changes.

 – Brain fog, which had been an ongoing problem, cleared up and I no longer felt that feeling of gloom and detachment which would afflict me every evening. This happened relatively early on in the program.

– My digestive issues started to clear up after 20 years of burning sensations in my gut. I used to have to eat some yoghurt if I woke up in the night or the burning feeling would keep me awake. It is gone and has never returned.

– Next I started retracing old chronic health issues and healing long-term injuries that had plagued me for many years. The first was in my left wrist, which I broke very badly falling out of a tree when I was 10 years old (as a young child I had shared Tarzan’s enthusiasm for jumping from branch to branch but had come up slightly short when it came to his agility). It was fascinating how the injury was being retraced and healed properly after so many years. I had heard of this happening but experiencing it directly amazed me. Sometimes you have to see to believe.

– I had also torn the ligament in my right ankle (the result of a bad football injury in my teens) and my foot would buckle under my weight on average once a year. The process would always be the same:  my ankle would swell up to twice its size and I would not be able to walk on it for a day and then within a few days the inflammation would go down and I would be OK till the next time. But there would always be a next time: it felt as though my ankle was hanging on by a thread. Anyway after about 3 years on the development program, my foot suddenly swelled up in a very unusual way. It was much more watery and soft than previously. It also happened spontaneously without trauma, which was a little perplexing at the time. However I understood healing reactions at this point and trusted the process. It has now rebuilt cartilage and the injury has not recurred for years.

– Next was some eczema on the middle finger of my left hand and sometimes of my right that would never properly go away. I had a Chinese herbal cream which was good for temporary relief when it flared up (it would come and go) but it was a stubborn condition albeit a non-serious one. (Actually when following development science less important but annoying conditions can quite often take a little while to resolve as the body deals with the more serious and pressing issues first. It’s truly amazing how our bodies have an innate ability to understand healing. When it starts to get into proper balance it is able to use this ability to fix practically everything.)

– The next and most dramatic healing reaction was with my lungs. When I had been hospitalised  years previously with bacterial pneumonia, it had left me with damaged lungs and I was simply not able to breathe as I had before. Initially I thought it was just to do with training the lungs back to prime condition but in fact the X-ray showed scar tissue which according to the typical mainstream narrative is something permanent and irreversible. About 4 years after I had been ill with pneumonia, my breathing suddenly became very laboured  and within a few hours it had worsened to the point where I was in a panic and thought I was in serious trouble. Although I will not go near hospitals as a general rule (this is not in any way to discourage others) and have never had a need to go to a hospital or doctor’s practice in the past five years, I eventually went to the emergency room at 5:00 am. At the hospital they could not find any sign of pneumonia or lung disease on the X-ray and my oxygen blood saturation levels were 98% which is considered good. It was bizarre that the symptoms were exactly the same as when I had been seriously ill years before but the indicators for disease were not. This is retracing in its purest form. It would have been nice if it had just lasted a night but it went on like this on and off for several months and although it was retracing? and I was not in any danger it was still quite disconcerting at times. There is something fairly discomforting in feeling that you can’t catch a proper breath. It’s not a fun place to be as those who have been in a similar situation will know. Eventually after deep retracing (which is effectively regeneration of the lungs) my breathing improved significantly and my lungs now feel almost new. I still have a very mild healing reaction but it is just a mild discomfort which lasts a few minutes and not like the initial strong retracing. I will soon have fully restored lungs and that scar tissue which was supposedly permanent will be a distant memory. As a side note the lungs are one of the slowest organs to restore on the development program, and they take a while to build the strength needed to allow the inflammation for healing to take place.

Beyond what I have observed and experienced in myself and others regarding healing reactions, it has become clear to me that obsessing about a single chronic health condition on its own is quite pointless. When a program is followed properly and the body is healed and balanced in a holistic (whole body) way it will deal with any condition without the need to name it. I find a lot of people are asking for solutions to a particular pathology, but if you focus on restoring the overall balance and the whole body system, healing of the condition will take place regardless of its supposed complexity. It’s a truly remarkable process.
